I had forgotten about that. Listening to him last night, he has ameliorated his stance on an outright ban to just raising the age limit.

Additionally, it occurred to me how much better he is playing a character. He was something of a rambling mess. But give him credit for at least knowing something about the subject. He did refer to AR-15s as semi-automatic, among a few other things that show he does know something about firearms, unlike most of those calling for gun control.

Like I said, his statements had plenty for everyone to dislike.
