Gun control debate (merged)

I believe the result of using it as intended is all to often the killing of innocent people.
So when a person stabs another with a kitchen knife, the knife was designed and intended to kill innocent people?

What if someone breaks into my home and threatens to kill me or my family was the gun I shot him with intended to kill innocent people? Was the guy that broke in innocent?

Luther you are mixing peoples ( criminals ) intentions to MISUSE a firearm and your highly subjected opinion with the actual facts and trying to pass them off as some liability for the firearms mfg.

No, I hope you shoot the guy 50 times, and then 20 more times in the crotch.

The intended purpose of a kitchen knife is not to stab living creatures; it's to spread peanut butter.

Guns are intended to fire projectiles at targets with deadly force and velocity.

So what differentiates a gun used designed to kill innocent people vs non innocent people? Is there labeling when you buy them?

Now you are leaving out key words from your original post like .. “INNOCENT PEOPLE “
No I'm not. I never said the intended purpose was to kill innocent people.
I just said the intended purpose was to fire projectiles at targets with deadly force and velocity.
All to often, people use that intended purpose to kill innocent people.

Mainly because the person didn't have easy access to a gun so they had to resort to misusing an object which was not built to kill.

Didn’t have easy access to a gun ? What about a hammer , a car , a bulldozer , a lion , a trained attack possum ? None of these things were available to the criminal so he chose a knife ? 😂

That was the object of choice to misuse for something completely other than its intended purpose.
