It does not matter who handed him the firearm. He didn’t check it. He killed someone with his negligence.

Agreed. If this situation had happened to Clint Eastwood or on one of his sets I have little doubt Baldwin would be on SNL with a Good, Bad, Ugly spoof. It's who Baldwin is.

'Rust' armorer 'mishandled' guns on previous film with Nicolas Cage, crew members say

I read an article yesterday that they were "plinking" with live ammo in this gun prior to the scene being shot. There is no way in hell this girl check the gun before handing it off. I can't fathom how stupid you'd have to be to bring live ammunition to a movie set where people will later be pointing and shooting guns at each other. She should be headed to prison for this.

Since Alec Baldwin was co-producer, this sounds even worse for him. He used a young, inexperienced non-union armorer without even checking references on her (since this was only her second film as an armorer, and personnel from the first film said she should have been fired).

It's one thing to celebrate halloween with your kids, but another for your husband to shoot and kill someone a week earlier and post pictures like everything is normal. It appears insensitive.

Apparently Baldwin is still running his mouth on twitter. Hard to say how humbled and remorseful he is after shooting and killing someone.

Well in his mind he is not a fault. He can say all he wants sorry, but the reason he don't seem truly remorseful is because deep down he don't feel like he is to blame.

He was out a week after the shooting picking up pizza. If you watched the roadside interview you'll see he is and always has been a total ass. Speaking to the lady like she's his 5 yo kid.

The oral arguments on the New York gun control case are being streamed. I found it on Fox. Very, very interesting. Would hazard a guess right now that the restrictive law is in trouble. Not sure who all the litigants are who were arguing, but one of New York State's was pretty much flustered, while another one actually was fairly deft. The plaintiff's attorney has been pretty strong.

Good questions by the justices. Would say the "conservative" justices are boring in on why a constitutional right should be subject to being licensed to begin with. The "liberal" justices seem to be looking for some narrow way to uphold it.

An interesting side note is that Tennessee's somewhat confusing historical relationship with the 2nd Amendment is referenced frequently.
