Gun control debate (merged)

Care to provide an example? Surely with all the freedumb you must have a cornucopia of examples, a myriad, a bakers dozen, a few, a couple, one?

It's ironic that her style of posting here is basically "drive by/shoot and run". It makes her easy to make fun of though. Even in other threads with other topics where she invests herself more she's just as likely to drop a tweet she didn't actually read scamper and away.

In her defense, she is probably on OJ’s third set of dream team lawyers still out there looking for the murderer of his ex wife and Ronald Goldman. I mean she could only devote a few moments of her time to such trivial matters as this forum

I am sure signal mountain has its OK Corral type gun battles everyday now that TN is open carry.
Way way back in the day, Signal Mtn had a few policemen that thought they were the Earps.
Old Porky telling young Porky stories about how great it was way way back in the day to be a Porky and make a righteous kill on the job has produced the great crop of public servants that we enjoy today.
Anyone that thinks open carry will not increase the number of citizens murdered by the police is mistaken. Every cop I have ever known carried a drop gun. Open carry makes it easier than ever for them to be used.

Yeah, open carry has lead to so many police involved shootings in other states.

BTW a person with a HGCP could always open carry here in TN.

Open carry was legal before. I'm guessing most people now, as before, would prefer concealed.

I said an increase.
Not so many.
One is too many. The most vile crime in America.
A drugged up cop on steroids seeing a firearm is a great way for a person to get shot.
Believe what you will as is your right.

It could happen, just hasn't yet (that I know of). It should be easy to find cases since open carry has been legal in many states for decades.

I strongly support the 2nd. Keep and Bear.

The Tn open carry law is just political bullsh@t.
Party Politicians playing to their base.
Like most publicity laws, there are always unintended consequences.

Forgive me but I'm a bit confused...you keep (seemingly at least) presenting an argument that TN has just recently made open carry legal. As discussed this is simply not the case.

Are you conflating "Open Carry" with "Constitutional Carry" and positing that legal carry should be by permit only? If not then that CC is fine but TN should do away with OC? (even though that was already legal?

Nothing has changed in regards to open carry except you no longer need a permit. Many other states have had permit-less open/concealed carry for decades so why don't you post links to the many instances of cops killing people for simply carrying in the open?

Families of Dayton shooting victims file suit against manufacturer of large-capacity magazines
large-capacity magazine (LCM)
A new acronym to add to the list
as a result of the massive capacity of the Magazine and the corresponding lack of a need to pause and reload, the Shooter was able to discharge 41 rounds in approximately 32 seconds
I've done 30 round mag dumps on a carbine in maybe ten seconds? I could have done twice what this guy did in the same amount of time because my mags don't suck. I'll bet $100 his jank ass 100 round mag jammed or FTF, and that most likely prevented him from doing further harm.
