Since the left likes to throw out crazy ideas they call "common sense" then here is one that I don't think is crazy at all.

If the dimocrats and the left don't believe that people should show I.D. to vote then why should we have to show I.D. to purchase firearms & ammunition?

This past election showed that it's just as dangerous to legal citizens if people are voting illegally as it is for someone to illegally purchase a firearm.
