I thought the 9th became more moderate with Trumps appointments?

It’s really not a radical decision. I know they’re talking about changing it, but even Tennessee has had restrictions on going armed in public since the 80’s. It’s never been overturned by a court and Tennessee courts have applied it in a pretty draconian way.

There just has never been a widely recognized constitutional right to open carry. The decision is in line with moderate jurisprudence.
