Most good conservationists with any knowledge of America’s record on wildlife conservation would disagree with the hunting/fishing licensing statement. Some states do a good job with their regulations, some don’t, but overall it’s a necessity.

Have you ever bought a gun? It took me two minutes to buy my license last August.

It took me about 20 minutes including all of the store procedures and NICS check to buy a pistol last month.

If you go to Walmart or Bass Pro or wherever and buy both at the counter, the process is extremely comparable.

A person hunting on private property should not be required to have a license to do so. The government has no business taking away a right and holding it for ransom.
