I don't believe anyone is really saying that. The point is that it places a burden on voting that disproportionately affects the poor

There is no valid reason whatsoever to be against voter ID, the only reason to be against voter ID is to plan to cheat by having non citizens vote. I see no undue burden put on anyone to have a photo ID, it's as simple as going to the DMV and getting your Drivers License, or just getting a simple photo ID if you can't obtain a drivers license. It's not complicated and it's not expensive.

Cheating is the exact reason democrats oppose it. They know they don't stand a chance in elections without illegals, and dead people, voting for them. They just don't have it in them to admit it. We had a poster here bragging about picking up illegals to vote.
