You assume everyone with a firearm is an idiot . I would hate to live with that kind of fear . My experience is if you teach the little kids the right way of doing things , they are less likely to experiment with something you’ve kept them away from .

I see the complete opposite. I would hate being so scared of everything that I felt the need to have a gun all the time (like at a strawberry patch). I am 40 and have never felt the need to carry a gun 1 time in my life.

And you paint with an extremely broad brush . Everyone is an individual, I take people for who they are not who they associate with , not what color they are , not what race or gender . So you got nothing? They list 317 from crimes. Not people defending themselves. Its bound to happen, not denying the risk. But I am willing to bet it's far less than other accidental deaths. Whether that's car or anything else.

Your desire doesn’t trump his right to self defense though. If somebody else is threatened and they have a firearm it actually is their right to respond.

I've carried for years, never shot anybody. Matter of fact, not one person I know who does carry, open or concealed, has never shot anybody. Your fear is from propaganda, not real life. There's more gang related shootings in a week vs redneck shootings in a year, yet you guys refuse to acknowledge that. Why?
