I use mine for hunting and protection. What are illegal drugs intended to do? We are doing a masterful job at controlling those. I'm even guessing Wal-mart decided to quit selling them too.

Some people are to stupid to be justified in exercising certain rights.

Well, according to the FBI's UCR as compared to rifles of any type (bolt, pump, lever, SA, the lot) averaged over the last 5 years (ending 2017) there were 5x as many people killed by edged weapons, 1.4x as many by blunt instruments and, get this, 2x as many with no weapon at all. So according to the Uniform Crime Report there are more verified cases of people killed by kicking/punching/shoving than all rifle types combined.

I mean, not that any of us think you give a fig about anything other than your histrionic bias but it does need to be pointed out that's primarily what you're selling.

I didn't see statistics in that report for accidental gun deaths and injuries. I realize the report is about crime statistics but accidental gun injuries and deaths are pretty high I believe.
