I do believe the government should forcibly remove non-cooperative carriers of a serious infectious disease from society.

I think we could come up with a reasonable and rational formula to determine if your existence is a benefit to society or a detriment. If a detriment, we have ways of dealing with that. Think how much society would benefit!

You first need to define "society". Is that my local community, my county, my state, my region? What's good for my little society may not be good for someplace 2000 miles west or 650 mile northeast. And visa versa.

Your definition of patriot is very broad and is completely subjective and dependent upon the person doing the judging. I would argue that Vietnam War protesters were very much patriots. They stood up for what they believed to be in the best interest America. And history has proven them to be correct. It was a war that we had no business fighting.

Some were patriots, others were just rabble rousers.

I do not think my definition is subjective at all. Patriotism does not include blind devotion to a government. Or really any devotion to a government.

So that is a very subjective standard. What Bernie Sanders views as patriotic likely would not be considered patriotic by Trump. I however don't doubt the love that either has for the country.

Patriotism is subjective. I don't believe that my statement about it not requiring devotion or loyalty to a government is.
