Residents describe the fatal shooting at Douglas Heights

So this happened at a nice new apartment complex near UTC campus. The statement from the owners made me lol.

We are committed to the safety of our residents, their guests and our staff. That’s why firearms are strictly banned from our community and surveillance monitoring is used throughout the building.

Guns are banned and they have cameras but three people got shot anyways. Weird. Maybe ban shootings on the property so criminals will take their actions elsewhere?

The funny part about his tweet is he says everyone is enjoying themselves but then suddenly here’s this guy. Well no dummy, everyone else is still enjoying themselves, you’re the only one that felt compelled to tweet about it. It would probably upset him to find out that demigod Obama authorized carrying in national parks.

Meanwhile Obama tried to get the "Assault Weapons" ban and other more intrusive control over gun ownership and registration with each and every shooting that took place during his reign. "Never let a good crisis go to waste."

Yes, he was a failure at it too, but not for lack of trying.

No you're hung up on the bump stocks. I'm looking at the issue as a whole and see the current guy has done more to limit the 2nd than the gun grabber so many were afraid of for 8yrs. Now those same people are actually rationalizing and cheering the increased limits

So beyond bump stocks what exactly are those "increased limits" he has enacted?

Trump's bump stock ban is unforgivable and completely illegal. At no time in our history (other than after the civil war) has the gov outlawed a legal piece of property without a grandfather period or compensation to the owner. What will be interesting to see is if the courts let it stand.

Good grief how far are you willing to bend to dismiss this? He's done more than the guy called a gun grabber by the right and the right is just accepting it
