Gun control debate (merged)

Awesome! So many Kentuckians can finally experience the sweet, sweet freedom of the second amendment when they experience gun violence Let's check back in in five years. I betcha gun violence in KY will have increased.

Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

There will be an uptick and most will be sad and unfortunate events, and then it will quickly dissipate. Everyone's manners and public civility will increase. What was an "issue" to the loud mouths before, is now a simple ability to turn their cheek and let it go.

Got to love peace and civility through mutually assured destruction. It almost makes you wish everyone had access to their own personal nuclear arsenal.

Wolves will always eat the defenseless sheep, it's in their nature. This is why we have sheep herders. You are protected by guns regardless of would like to think or how you would like things to be. Let's cut the power for a month, disarm the police and military and see what happens.

From guns to nukes.......stay on topic.

Funny enough, the people complaining about guns, are exactly the ones who will need them if/when confrontation arises. You probably couldn't defend yourself against an in shape 15 year old girl.

We had our shot at that utopia , we screwed it up . We have what we wanted now “free will “.

There will always be some nut that "out arms" you. Having your sense of safety and security depend on your ability to out arm your neighbors is a sad state of paranoia in which to live.

And here I thought most gun folks weren't trying to out arm their neighbors, just the nut jobs that attack people and personal property if those nuts aren't agreed with...

It’s an odd perception some have . I don’t have a clue how many firearms my neighbors have , what type or even if they own one . I’ve never considered it any of my business . Same with them knowing what I own or don’t own . I like it that way .

I choose out-armed over defenseless every time! It is sad, but the fact remains this is a gun ownership country.
