The fear created by the Obama presidency, and now probably Scalia's death, has/will provide record profits for gun makers.

At the end of the day, very little will most likely change, other than that the owners/execs at places like Remington, Smith & Wesson, Mossberg, etc. will have more money in their accounts and individual Americans will have more guns and ammo stored away for the Zombie Apocalypse.

Yeah no doubt. Eventually these retards will get smart though and go after ammunition. That will be much easier than guns. You can have arms, but if ya ain't got nothing to put thru 'em.....

No, it's definitely good if we're ever confronted by zombies in a world laid waste by radiation. It's also good if you are employed with a gun manufacturer.

My tone was mostly mocking, as the fear perpetuating such purchasing decisions has enriched gun makers while very little has actually occurred to restrict gun rights. It's almost like we're a culture fueled by media-induced fear or something. Perhaps one day the fear will have proved justified, but I'm very skeptical that day ever comes.

He's a gun maker's wet dream. They couldn't have asked for a better president for their bottom line unless they actually got to directly vote him in themselves.

Ahh, the classic, "You believe in a Small Government and strong individual rights so you must be a fanatic" quip. We told the Crown to go eff itself to get away from feeling like a subject to the government.

I've always believed we would benefit from three (3) viable political parties, but unfortunately I don't believe that will ever happen with the way our current political system is setup. Someone like a Sanders is probably the closest you will get.

I'd personally like to see the greens and the libertarians gain some momentum and at least get some seats in the house and Senate.

Edit: I'd also put Ron Paul in there. Rand is still a libertarian leaning conservative but I think his time in office and his disillusionment of the Republican party will push him further libertarian as well.

Sanders represents the middle of the road Democrat now. I didn't see O'Malley or Hillary disagree with him to any extent in the debates.

Don't think Sanders is a middle-of-the-road democrat. I would say O'Malley and to a certain degree Hillary are. Sanders represents the far left of the Dem party or in some instances no party at all, which is why he is an independent senator.

He's an establishment Democrat. He may be an "independent" senator but he represents the belief of a lot of dems these days, especially younger ones.

Yep. I have watched all of the debates (both parties). You could flip a coin as to which Dem to vote for. Black lives matter, police are crooks, come out of the shadows, college for everyone, health care is a right, LGBT rights, equal pay for women, open borders, no such word as Islamic terrorist, Wall Street bad, guns bad, etc.

Where do the differ, other than Bernie needs to support the 2nd Amendment in his state? I am not sure that he would if elected Pres.
