He was white and looked like a thug, and I really thought he came in to rob the place. It turned out that he worked at a gun store next door. Still, what he did was pretty stupid and he's lucky that someone didn't engage him because of how he was carrying and his appearance. If not in an official uniform, people should carried concealed just to keep from causing a situation.

I don't know how many of you are keeping an eye on the flag threads. I posted this over there earlier today!

I think what is happening right now is a good analogy as to why gun owners across America fight so hard when the liberals pressure for the ban on certain weapons and ammo!

The common sense gun reform they say that we just want to ban a certain kind of gun or a certain kind of bullet.

Yesterday they just wanted to take down a flag. Today, its well why should we have monuments & memorials. Why should these graves still be in a place of prominence and viewable to the general public.

Its because if you give them one they will want to take all. Which is what we are watching happen!

I think I'll boo hoo for a moment...

Okay, now that it's past. I saw how they mentioned the so called blanket protecting of the industry. Well, it happens to be there because most other industries don't need it from this kind of thing. You don't see families suing ExxonMobil or BP for the gas used in a drunk drivers vehicle when they kill a person.

And waiting on the inevitable LG scoff and retort shortly.

I kind of equate carrying in public with deer hunting. If you happen to kill a deer best to conceal it in the back of your pick up and not let it be hanging off the tailgate with blood dripping on the street. Same with carrying a gun-best to keep it concealed so as to not alarm the general public. Just not necessary.

It's terrible what happened to those people in the theater, but let's get real, the ammo manufacture didn't pull the trigger. Trying to sue the ammo maker is beyond stupid. I'm sure some gun grabbing group will pay their money owed.

Liberals have no logical answer for this. Only that they refuse to call a criminal a criminal, or accept that someone is responsible for their own actions. Always pass the blame.
*unless the person is conservative, then they're all for the death penalty, extradicting, blaming etc.

The attorneys who filed the suit should be disbarred and pay the fees. These dip**** parents didn't come up with the idea to sue on their own.

You are correct. But they also didn't need to let a slick lawyer talk them into trying to replace a family member with what they thought was an easy payday.

An easy payday for him at least. And like he cares, he got paid.

I'm with DTH, it's a terrible tragedy, but by no means should the weapons manufacturers, the dealers, the ammo sales outlet...hell, the company that made the brass or created the powder and bullets cannot be held into account. They might have had more luck going against the theater that decided to take the patron's safety into their own hands by making it a gun free zone.

I think the Chinese invented gun powder. Maybe they could sue for reparations. That seems to be all the rage these days.
