It's uprooting the goal posts and moving them to the sidelines. The SCOTUS now looks like it will make rulings that fly in the face of his "continuums" so in order to appear correct, he's got to change his narrative.

Maybe the big cities like Chicago should enact tougher gun laws since it's only a problem in the bigger cities, oh wait...
