For sure. I wasn't giving him crap or anything. He is doing right. He still needs a lawyer with him. Always have a lawyer with you when dealing with the police. It seems like he is being responsible about it right now. Turned himself into the cops before any warrants came out, instead of just hiding behind a lawyer. Props for that.
“Blanks” actually fire a paper wad. At point blank range the concussive force of the round simply being discharged can even lead to death.I am ignorant on this I guess, I assumed these were fake guns used on sets.
If it can fire a projectile with deadly force then it is not to be pointed at a person. This is daf.
Wasn’t he plastered and playing Russian roulette? An actor back in the 80’s was killed by using a “safe” gun by shooting himself in the temple. The pressure from the blank wad alone was enough to kill him at point blank range.
Even skilled firearm users are suspect. Terry Kath of Chicago is a well known example.
A catastrophic failure like that could occur I suppose. I'm not a blank expert but I wouldn't have thought a pistol blank would carry that kind of charge. Of course, being a prop gun I can't speak to it's integrity either.
John Erik Hexum ( I believe) Stared in Voyagers, Time Travelers. He live a couple of days. He was a good looking young actor with the world in his hands. An actor back in the 80’s was killed by using a “safe” gun by shooting himself in the temple. The pressure from the blank wad alone was enough to kill him at point blank range.
