FypOne thing Americans do well, perhaps better than anyone else in the world, is push back when shoved by authorities. If you want to guarantee Americans dig in their heels, go after them and what they hold dear.
Gun owners, homosexuals, blacks, ...doesn't matter the issue; if the authorities say "you can't", Americans say "hold my beer".
I wouldnt consider that a threat at all. If anything he is defending himself. Its ole beto that is coming to steal guns away.Beto O’Rourke has already backed mandatory buybacks for assault weapons, but at Thursday’s Democratic debate, he left no ambiguity about what that would mean. “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47,” he said.
Less than an hour later, O’Rourke received what he described as a “death threat” from a fellow Texas politician. “My AR is ready for you Robert Francis,” Briscoe Cain, a Republican state representative from the Houston area, wrote on Twitter, using O’Rourke’s legal name.
Not a smart move by Cain. Wonder if the FBI will pay him a visit.
