And politicians can't govern in a tyrannical sense as long as we are armed.

Sounds like poor management and overzealous speculation. (banking on Clinton winning) To expect super high sales to simply go on forever doesn't make much sense.

Still, while NICS isn't a 100% tracker of firearm sales there's a very strong correlation and the numbers show a lot of checks.

I am the opposite of the trend. I got a gun because of him.

Are we sure this isn't an Onion type joke? I mean, the guy's name is Dick Duby.

If this is real we need to set this guy and the also incredibly aptly named Gersh Kuntzman up so they can hoplofondle together.

It also looks like something a 3rd grader would turn in for a report after reading a Brady Campaign flyer.

These dumbasses really are trying to get us back to muskets only.

I’ve said it before ... The big scary guns ( assault rifles ) are their deal now only because they think they would be easier to ban . The real goal is the number of weapons but they can’t get there from here so they take the how do you eat an elephant approach ( one bite at a time ) if the get a rifle ban they will tell us that nobody needs a firearm that shoots X amount of times after that we won’t need pistols only shotguns .

I have the (unfair) advantage of being a LEO, which means I can, and do, carry a firearm on me 24/7, on duty or off. That being said, if I were the proverbial Average Citizen with a concealed carry permit or open carry rights (I'm not against open carry, but it does come with some concerns)...I would not cast my shadow over the doorstep of any business or organization which banned the legal carrying of a firearm on their premises. Fact is, there are a few places around here that have such signs on their doors. I don't do business there, even though I could force the issue, but to what end goal? I don't like conflict, and if it comes down to the point where I do have to draw my weapon, I'd rather you not know I am armed until it's too late to give you any advantage.

So when I see a sign like that, I just apply left or right rudder and go somewhere else. As for government buildings, neither you nor I have any choice. I can't carry off-duty at my courthouse. Gotta use the drop boxes in the lobby. FWIW, I do as much of my "government business" (renewing tags, etc.) as I can on line. Not too worried about my Mac shooting at me.

Don't waste your time trying to track down someone who was exercising their Constitutional Right to Bear Arms in a manner consistent with existing law who got a hard time from me. You won't find one. But just because the law allows you to walk around in WalMart (for example) with an AR slung over your back doesn't mean it's a good idea, either. Honestly, what are you trying to prove? That it'll take the 3rd Infantry Division to take your bad-ass out? That's a bit much. Just put a .45 on your hip, untuck your shirt, and be cool.

Or, hell...go all out and mount a Ma Deuce on your Prius.
