Gun control debate (merged)

And it’s happened before - The American Revolution.

American guerrillas armed with the “AR-15” of the day - the Kentucky Long Rifle.

Washington strikes me as one of those old farts who would have preferred the M14 and 1911 for his troops.

Francis Marrion on the other hand is a straight AK and Glock kinda guy.

The Overmountain Men on the other hand are pure M110 SASS and HK45 guys.

Quite the conundrum.

The bubble created here has a level of toxicity that is harming you guys in unseen ways. Just doing my part to help add a little occasional fresh air inside the bubble.

You're welcome.
@hog88 ,

Did a liberal school teacher tell us we live in a bubble?

I literally laughed out loud.
He’s a special one.

No, in fact a liberal school teacher did not tell you that you live in a bubble. Take your time....I even bolded some words for you.
But a liberal school teacher may very well tell you that you need to read and process more carefully. Especially before you literally laugh out loud as a result of your own miscomprehensions. It's a bad look.

What? Who is more sound of mind?
Not the people who said they were less essential than Home Depot employees. Not the people who fought tooth and nail to NOT go back to in class teaching. Those "eduactors" are trash people.

When I say less essential, I mean their actions spoke for them.

What??????? Where do you live and were those your experiences there?

Luther stop. Don't pretend like you don't know about the numerous unions that fought for over a year to go back to in person teaching. A blight on your profession.
Why are you afraid to answer. What were your experiences where you live? Simple question.

I can happily tell you about my experiences here.

Says the little person that’s mooched off taxpayers for decades.
Please. Do me a favor (anyone can play) and go through the list and tell me how much each person mooches off of the taxpayer.(You can scale it from 0 - 100 if you wish)
Teachers
Enlisted military
Career military
Judges
court reporters
school cafeteria workers
prison guards
Police officers
Firemen
Social workers
Park rangers
Food inspectors
Border patrol
FBI
CIA

Just put the score next to each occupation. This will be fun.
Again- anyone can play

The difference is some of those provide a valuable service.

I'm not surprised you continue to avoid the question. It is 100% typical and says far more than you evidently realize.
Lol good lord. It was a terrible experience. Shat. Thank god I live in a state that has common sense. And good god thank the lord Stacey Abrahams wasn't in charge. Can you imagine how bad that would have been? She'd still have everyone in masks, except herself, and insist she was the one caring about kids. Didn't you vote for that idiot twice? I understand many other states had it far worse. But I am greatly looking forward to using your filter of "all that matters is how it effected you" on all subjects going forward. Your a clown

Which of those demanded to work from home? How many cafeteria workers lost their jobs bc "teachers" refused to go to work?

First, I was asking about your experiences with the teachers in your area.
Second, I never said "all that matters is how it effected you", that's simply a false accusation and not my position in the least (although I'm sure you and others will claim that it is moving forward)

I know thousands of teachers and none demanded to work from home. Maybe you have different experiences, hard to know since you are scared to say.

Everybody I know in the corporate world was forced to work from home. Seems kind of stupid to force parents to send in their kids to sit in a classroom with 30 other kids during a pandemic when they are being forced to work from home to avoid being in a much larger area with 10 other people.

Out of the jobs on the list. All of them had adjustments made.
