I'm not sure how serious you are with some of these statements Lex. Do you really believe Phil deserves more time to fix the problems?
Also, I in no way expect an immediate turnaround by hiring a new coach so i don't think I will miss or not miss Phil after just one year. I expect 3 years to be a minimum to see the results I want to see for UT football.
Also, if you're going that route, evidently Fulmer deserves to be called Phillip, because that's what he prefers.
Agree in some degree to most of that, Lex, except about Wall Street. All they DESERVE is a big kick in the oysters.
Oh I wish I was an old guitar
Sittin' in a beat-up car
Hittin' every two-bit bar
From here to Texas
Then I wouldn't be ashamed
To look up my old friends
And they would be so proud
To see me strung up again

The only thing I would add to your list is that the team, especially the seniors, deserve better, more avid fan support.
Disagree about Wall Street, what we need to do is exercise the option in the original Federal Reserve Act of 1913 to buy it back, (I think the original buyout was set at only $500.000) unless one of the 400+ amendments to that act has mandated that we are relegated forever to slave state status financially, regardless of Socrates conclusion that a benevolent oligarchy is the best form of government because as the generations of men come and the generations of man go, some generations are more and some generations are less benevolent to the lessor citizenry.
Our football team could use some regeneration now that I think about it.
Another nitpick, we could be 4/0 instead of 3/1, we left 14 points on the field and gave up 14 points needlessly in the first half of the Florida game.
Finally, I must compliment your Grand Pappy, he certainly knew his beans when he said that.
Thanks for another excellent article, thanks to Freak for publishing it.
GO VOLS!!
I think I 'deserve' some resolution to this entire debacle...
lol: My beginning point for the article (in my head of course) was that we are in disarray to some extent with the program. With all of the he said she said going on chaos will be the only result. What we need is a leader to emerge out of all this to break us out of this.
Sorry Lex but i thought that's why CPF is being paid for, not working like"heck"hoping somebody else steps to the plate:yes:lol: My beginning point for the article (in my head of course) was that we are in disarray to some extent with the program. It does feel like we are a thousand miles from nowhere.
I assume you mean in the 'oysters Rockefeller?'
Then adjust your focus, that is usually called 'adjusting range.'
As in;
I got heartaches in my pocket,
I got echoes in my head.
And all that I keep hearing,
Are the cruel, cruel things that you said.
or;
He said if youve got money
Ill see that you dont walk
Well I havent got a nickel
Not a penny can I show
Get off, get off you railroad bum
And he slammed that boxcar door
Nice play on words btw, "(de) served."
Does that mean Bama is dropping their suit???
Zuits me if it zuits them and I certainly hope they get what they deserve, no doubt about that.
ive got bruises on my memory
and tear stains on my hands
In the mirror there is a vision
Of what used to be a man....
