Good job but you may want to go back and delete "and Oklahoma" after last nights beating they endured. (Although it was more about WV's emotion more than anything).

Oklahoma will be fine. People seem to forget that UT failed to show up for their first BCS bowl appearance. My guess is that with the talent on that team, unless they are playing for an NC they don't really care.

I also think that WV had much more to prove after losing to Pitt. Oklahoma will be in the national title picture as long as Stoops remains.

Very nice piece of writing. I would have enjoyed the atmosphere at your grandfather's house on New Years Days of old.
