Kind of like when the Arkansas' offense sacked Stoerner in '98?
then tell me where credits give credit and I'll give it a shot. Until then, I'm going with my divine intervention theory.no, no, no. how many times do i have to explain this? billy ratliff got a good push on the tackle and he tripped up stoerner. give credit where credits do, to billy ratliff. that kind of never quit player is what we need on defense now.

it is still amazing to me when people bring that game up and conveniently forget that the fumble occurred at mid feild.Agreed, I was making a joke in my earlier post. Even after the fumble, all Arkansas had to do was tackle Travis Henry. Its not like Stoerner fumbled into the endzone. Henry got like 50 yards on 5 carries to end the game.
I appreciate the feedback guys. It was a little depressing to write. I was really simply trying to put my finger on the apathy that has spread around the fanbase from loss to loss. There were so many people that seemed to have the same ideas, so I wanted to put mine into words. Next week we will go a little lighter.
Thanks for reading. Go Vols.
Great article Lex. I agree with most of what you said. But I still wake up on Saturday morning with the stomach butterflies in pure anticipation of the game, whether it's on TV on in person at Neyland. I still find myself busting with pride at being a Vol fan when they are running through the "T". Lately though, the dread and disgust set in by halftime. But I know a couple of quality wins can make things orange again. Here's hoping for the best.
