Guess Who Was Back on Rocky Top Today?

Romo was the antithesis of a winner. He has had the smell of loser on him almost since the beginning of his NFL career. Jerry Jones did everything his money could do to remove the loser stench off Romo but it's who he was and is. It's an intangible like being a winner, some have it, some don't. If you have heart for the guy my best about him is he won at consistently underperforming.

he had a good career...statistically, but could never get big D to the dance....reminiscent of the Danny White era.

If JJ ever decides to stop being a knucklehead...Dallas just might win the SB again.

I was at the 2002 6 OT extravaganza vs. Arkansas. Easily one of the best games I've been in attendance for, and Witten had a monster game. One of my favorite players; still can't bring myself to pull for Dallas though.

Needs to come here and coach after he tires.

I have a family member that knows Jason very well. His plans are to live in Dallas. He's not leaving Dallas after he even retires to come to UT to coach. He's already talked about it to him. He loves the city of Dallas.

The cowboys were flailing with romo. Dak made the TE game alive again and with his mobility opened the run game up. Might be trying to get a championship or 2 before he goes.

to Witten all the time. To say that Dak "made the TE game come alive" is wrong. Who do you think threw all the passes that Witen has caught over his career?

...and why not? Jason, God bless him, can still bring it even after all these years. Being one of my all-time favorite Vols, I feel priviledged to have seen him in Big Orange.

He's finally got the right people. Good scouting and sound decisions and Jerry gets the credit.

I only pull for the Cowboys vs the Patriots, Iranians and North Koreans...that said I'd like to see Witten win a SB

Definitely decent but I just can't see Dak winning a SuperBowl at this time. He was great for a rookie but he's not in the leagues of Rodgers, Brady, Brees, even Roethlisberger and some others.

So what. Don't need an Elite QB to hand the ball off.

Who's that future NFL Hall of Famer chatting with CBJ?

Its seems like just yesterday we were hoping he would choose the Vols and after he did the debate was to play TE or DE...somebody made a great call on that one...
