Guess Berry's 40 time

Berry ran LOW 4.3s at his training camp in Boca Raton per several reports but he would not admit it, he was asked about it and said he will shock the combine with his 40 time.

I am guessing he runs sub 4.35.

No way he is s fast as Spiller and Best...they ran 4.37 and 4.35...Berry is about the 4.42 range.

When Superman spun the earth opposite to save Lois Lane, Eric Berry changed it back, then knocked out Superman for having to do it

Most of the NFLers are saying he'd be as good or better as a corner rather then safety. I don't see an NFL team putting a 4.5 guy out as a cover corner. They know more than I do so I'm projecting a definite sub 4.5 performance from EB.

I am guessing that maybe he will do even better than that....anywhere between 4.28 to 4.32. Smokem Eric!:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

Really? He has ran in the 4.3s in High School. You telling me hes gotten slower and spending time with professional coaches hes not any faster?

Maybe it's not that he's gotten slower but the fact that maybe he didn't run a LEGIT 4.3 in high school. NFL times are laser timed and most of the 40 times kids run before the combine are timed with a stop watch. That alone can make up as much as a .1 - .15 difference in a 40 time.

Like I said before, whether Berry runs a 4.35 or a 4.45 will not make a big difference in his draft position. Teams know that they are getting more than just a speed guy with Berry.

First off he ran track so I would say most of his times are legit as anyone elses.

Second if he runs a 4.35 vs a 4.45 thats a HUGE difference. He is being projected as either CB or S which raises his Value even more than just a normal player.

40 times matter more than they should.

I agree that there is a big difference between a 4.35 vs 4.45, that's not what I was saying. My point is that he is going to be a top 5 pick no matter if he runs a 4.35 or 4.45, IMO.

Coach at the combine: "I just don't know about this Rice kid. H'es just not that fast. Think we should look for another WR."

Same Coach 3 years later: "OK, can somebody please stop this Jerry Rice kid. He is eating our secondary apart."

Combines don't mean squat. Berry stays healthy Berry will be giving an acceptance speach in Canton one day.
