GT dismisses RB

Brady swilling will not play in this game. I'm 99.9 percent sure of this. We were not at 85 scholarships so our coach gave 4 seniors scholarships for their last year.

The Bback who played last year when Mills was out, has transferred.

I think the starter might be a true freshman. If not it will be our 2nd string guy now, as long as he gets better. He's been injured.

We have a very painful history at UT of making one-game superstars out of the unlikeliest of back-ups, so I wouldn't count Brady Swilling out just yet. Hell, we lost to Kentucky only when they were so injured they were forced to play a non-QB at QB!

{Just to get you up to speed, this is simply an inside joke around here because of all the one-game wonders we have seen. Not really afraid of Brady Swilling.}

Bearded is ecstatic, because if we happen to go something awesome like 10-2 or 11-1 this season, he's already got one "yeah, but if this hadn't happened, we'd have lost" arrow in his quiver.

Negas never stop nega'ing. When it looks like they're pumping, they're only pumping because they saw a new way to nega. :)

I posted in the other thread about this.

Devastating loss for us, best player by far.

Likely starting a true FR now as he's beat out the other guys in front of him.

I hate it for the youngster, GT, and us. Why us? Now they will have an excuse why they got blown out.

So if we win this game, does Butchy get an asterisk since the leading rusher won't play.......meaning Lyle is still on the hot seat?

The way things like this generally work out for us, your freshman running back is probably the next Herschel Walker.

If history is a guide, that's really bad news for is. His backup will be on the Heisman watchlist by Tuesday morning 😁😳

This is the true freshman who might get some playing time.

He's had some high praises from Paul johnson. Johnson said he fits perfectly for what we do, and he's hard to tackle.

This is the guy that was behind Mills

Looks like it's an open competition between these two plus another true freshman ( Jordan ponchez-mason) I think he's going to be a stud one day. And a redshirt sophomore Quaide, I'm not even going to try and spell his last name.

Haha Weimerskirch.

Paul said today Kirvonte Benson would be the starter but he hasn't been practicing due to injury. So we will see what happens when he gets back.

I heard that too. Don't know if it's a blow though. I have no idea of the GT roster.

He was preseason all ACC as a true sophomore. Media had him pegged as the best back in the ACC. Very probable NFL caliber player.

He was who we were hanging our hat on this year. His backup last year was really really good, but transferred to D2 because he knew he wouldn't start.

One thing about Tech, is we give players no leeway for breaking rules. Very tight discipline in the program.

Yea, and your other experienced guy (Marcus Marshall) transferred after Mills took the #1 spot...

Those two would have been an awesome 1-2 punch...

But, true freshmen don't realize they are true freshmen so they will play with no fear...

Got that right, would've been a hell of a combo.
