Hyams said he was texting with Gruden in 12 and in 17. Supposedly it was close in 12 lol. I don’t even believe it but maybe.

This thread makes me question the mental health of our people. We are at rock bottom folks. I was on a group text about this last night as news was breaking of NCAA troubles. One guy said he'd take Kiffen back. Another said Butch Jones starting to look good. Nobody said Brady Hoke or Dooley, so maybe we aren't quite at bottom.

Gruden would be better than all of those, but I get a knot in my stomach thinking about it. It's like that good looking gal in high school that teased you about prom, but went with the other guy. Yes, you got over it, with time. Then she gets married and off the radar forever, until a little birdy tells you she's divorced and back on the market. Never mind that HE left HER because of (fill in the blank).. You still are harboring images of that candyland fantasy and want her again. Gruden. God he looks good in Orange!!

Gruden was never a serious candidate. He was only interested in the NFL. He used U. T. to massage his ego. Next to the Kiffen couch burning, the most embarrassing thing Vol fans have done was to go whoring after Gruden.

Eh ***** not working out with the raiders so I say why the hell not. Make another run at him and give him the Jimbo treatment
