i get it......! gruden can go in a rip the raiders to absolute crap and some folks here still want him here.......but we had folk thinking tee should apologize and beg for forgiveness in order to coach here? F***

Exactly why the AD didn't offer him $10,000 per year & total control of football team, chemistry class, men's basketball team & control of the nursing program
Gruden wanted all the money & control of everything
If he failed, then the AD that hired him would never get a job elsewhere
Glad we didn't hire Willie Taggert or Charlie Strong or Burch Davis. Would have been more of a disaster for program

Gruden was ga-ga over Johnny Football and said he was a slam dunk first round pick. What ever he says,do the opposite.

There must have been 3,000+ miles of threads and 2.6 zillion gigs of memory used up on Grumors over the past what, 5 years? His triumphant return to Ktown though is really just fodder now because we have a coach that appears to be capable of elevating us back to the elite SEC status we are accustomed to. We ALL dreamed that Gruden would be that man as we had nothing else to hold onto w regards to Dreams. Thanks Grudes, you will always be a part of faux folklore here in Knoxville!
