Indeed. A repentant OG, but an OG nonetheless.

Gotta say...props to you for continuing to be on here after three years of crap. If I were in your shoes, I'd be avoiding these gruden threads like the plague...

Thanks....it's just a message board. I'd be pretty weak-minded if I let that bother me. I get why some were upset, but I know what I know. It's all good....we're all just fans.

FWIW, I did see him in football complex when all of that was going on. That doesn't mean he was in talks with us, of course but you can imagine it pumped me up. I still believe something was going on but that's water under the bridge.

Man if he was Tennessee coach. Think of all the 4 and 5 star players that would come here. We would have a pro style offence. All the big time WRs and QBs would come to Rocky Top. Saben would not the the top coach in the SEC. I can hope can't i. lol :eek:k:

No offence but Saben could never not himself.

It was closer than many will ever admit, or know. Both sides were responsible for it not happening. Doesn't matter though....Butch is our guy, and has done a great job rebuilding. I'm not sure Gruden would have done as good of a job putting the pieces of a broken program back together. I just hope Butch is the guy to get us back to where we should be. The next month should tell us.
