He doesnt have the sources he used to have and its not about knowing the history of UT.This isnt rocket science, do some not realize there may be a reason everything is being kept quiet from UT and Gruden. Not to mention not one thing has been denied. They obviously dont want anything getting out and even Hubbs isnt denying anything and he know's more about what's going on than Larry.

Yes. He wants to see Tennessee on top and the only way is for him to come and do it himself. Now he just got to talk his way back into coaching.

Rexvol is just going off what everyone already read...LWSVol (Larry) gives Gruden a 5% chance to come here based off he thinks he doesn't want to deal with College football.

I say Yes...too many people on here saying YES compared to just one No.

Actually Hubbs said he heard some rumblings of lastnight of lack of interest also. I am really hoping for yes, and Hubbs never dismissed it.

The way I see it, if Gruden is a control freak, he would want to come to college. He could build his system, handpick his players. In the NFL, you have a salary cap that allows you from being stacked at every position. Here, if he can convince kids to play at Tennessee, he can have 5* players backing up 5* players.

Many have said the complete control of the college game is what draws him, and I understand. If I like having control of every aspect, college would appeal to me very much. It could be completely his team. No AD interference. You just have to think to a guy like Gruden, that has to be appealing. The thought of having your players, and your offense, and your defense, your way, has got to make Chucky chuckle a little.

He may not pick us....but man, if he does.....watch out.

I really do think that UT is willing to try to bend over backwards to get Jon in here. But I just think that Gruds will never return to the college game. He is bigger than that these days

I'm an assistant manger at a pilot in Knoxville, been there for 3 years now. Anyways, Mr Haslam makes a corporate stop at our store twice a year, so I've only met him a total of 6 times, the latest time being this past Friday. He always talks to every employee when he comes in and always asks if we have any questions, so I asked if the Gruden rumors were true. At the time he laughed it off and said he's gotten that question a lot, and that was the end of it. As he was leaving about 45 minutes later I was outside on my break and he stopped and said this. "All us vol fans me included would love to have Mr Gruden, but unfortunately it doesn't look like its a reality." That's all he said. I'm no insider and I have zero sources. I hope we get Gruden, but that's why I answered no.

No, Sadly he'll either still be on MNF or in the NFL next year. We'll have either Dooley or Hart *Barf*
