Agreed. Giants are also my favorite landing spot for Josh.
I think the Giants, New Orleans and San Diego would be his best bets.. Cleveland could be a good spot if they keep Osweiler for a year. The chances he walks into a situation like what Dak Prescott had does not exist. Prescott walked into a system that had a hell of an offense that is more about the system than the QB. Look at how every time a backup in New England pops in a game they set the world on fire. Look at how many Backup QB's from New england have gotten paid big for one year of backup work this decade and stunk it up at their next few stops.

The NFL is also filled with QBs who were better than Dobbs was in college and are lousy in the NFL. Ive also seen time and time again guys who play with a similar style to Dobbs fall flat on their face in the NFL. Geno Smith, EJ Manual, Tebow, RG3, Vince Young, Andre Ware, Quincy Carter. Thats just off the top of my head. To be a successful NFL qb one must posses ELITE arm talent. Not good arm talent. Not good arm talent and elite running ability. The only way to be successful is with elite arm talent. Dobbs does not have that.

That's the biggest bunch of bull I've read on this site.

A few questions for you. Does Trevor Siemian have elite arm talent? How about Ryan Fitzpatrick? Or how about Case Keenum?

Those are all guys who started almost every game for their team last season. All guys who will be drafted later than where Dobbs is projected to go because they were deemed to not have "elite arm talent." All guys that had better NFL success than guys like Tebow, Manziel, and RG3.

I think your issue is you think what happens in college has any bearing on NFL success. It doesn't. Just like high school stats or team success in high school doesn't translate to college success. Same is true for college to the pros. Tebow, Manziel, and RG3 became busts because they couldn't adapt to the NFL game.

Josh Dobbs will be a star in the NFL.

I think Wentz did pretty well as a rookie until the second half of the season.

I agree, he was top shelf for 1st 6 games.

What you have to wonder is did Philly Offense breakdown or did the defenses pick up on his tendencies and non-verbal signals?

At the very least, their inconsistent run game put extra pressure on Wentz.

I think he will be all right to very good in the NFL but questions remain.

Play calling and scheme had something to do with his development of the long ball.

What people are saying is give him the right system to learn in - he has the tools to be successful in the NFL.
I'm sorry to be that guy, but footwork and fundamentals have everything to do with the long ball. I fail to see how a play call has any impact on a QB's ability to hit the receiver in stride on the long ball. Would love to hear your explanation on that one.

I actually thought Dobbs improved a lot on the long ball this year. I also think he can improve even more with the right coach. He definitely did not have a good QB coach during his time at UT.

I think a better example of a successful QB without elite arm talent is Alex Smith. I also happen to think he is a good player comp for Dobbs.
