The theme of the post is that kids need parents, not friends. I hope some of you never have kids, and those that already do should turn their kids over to competent guardians or the state. Many who post here couldn’t father a “stain”, much less a child.

Being a father is much more than having a **** and balls. But yes, throw your liberal spin on how anyone to the right of Alinsky is raising their child(ren) to be white nationalist, hate mongering rubes.

ETA: “Weenie whacking” was not used synonymously with masturbating. Considering the audience, I thought it was clear what I meant.

Most generations got whipped and things were much better, I can guarantee you 99.99999999% of these man bun, tights pants wearing 20 years old liberals never got their asses beat my their father. I see it a ton with younger kids where they run the house.
Mom/dad: Little Johnny you need to eat you dinner
Little Johnny: No screw you, you eat it
Mom/dad: Please little Johnny, please its good for you
Little Johnny: Go f yourself, I'm playing on my phone I don't want dinner
Mom/dad: Ok that's fine whatever you want is fine with us

I am in the middle with this. I got my ass worn out when I was growing up and I still made dumb decisions as a young adult and did many things I am not proud of. I have also seen parents I know who use more positive reinforcement or the sit your ass in the corner for an hour punishment and their kids have turned out really good and are prospering as young adults. Most of the parenting issues and kids growing up to be degenerates is all a matter of how much time you spend with them IMO. I dont have a problem with spankings, but I also do have a problem with discipline without physical contact. JMO

You can't use spanking as your only means of discipline but it can be effective when applied properly. I tried to not spank the kids when I was still mad which I think made it worse for them, sitting in their room waiting on the spanking was worse than the spanking.

Punishment should fit the crime. I don't believe every little thing warrants a spanking, but I do believe some things warrant one. Lot of it depends on the kid and what he/she responds to.

I guess whippings work for some, but not for others. I got belts,switches... paddles.... they taught me right from wrong on many things ....BUT.... I can also remember weighing the consequences and proceeding with some behaviors knowing I'd take a whipping if caught

I always had to take into consideration how busy or tired my dad was.

Different punishments for different kids. It would have been tough to raise me without a few spankings, but they would have been ineffective for my brother.

Likewise they aren't effective for my daughter. You have to find something she really cares about. For example, sending her to her room with no tv and no electronics was like tossing Brer Rabbit in the briar patch. She would just read. Take away her favorite jeans, makeup or something else near and dear and you had her attention.

I have a memory when I was a kid of acting wild in a store. My dad told me that if I didn't behave that he was going to whoop me. Some woman standing nearby flipped out. She said "how do you threaten your child." She raised this big stink and demanded the manager of the store call the police. I just remember thinking that I probably deserved a whack on the butt and that the woman was crazy.

These people are the worst and her ******* kid is probably in the other aisle pulling **** off the shelves onto the floor and has no clue what he is doing.
