Does anyone else feel that every game this year is a repeat of the other games?? Our players, who are talented, are trained to get the lead and they do. Sometimes, the lead is close to 20 points but, it doesn't matter because our coaches allow the lead to evaporate. It's simply uncanny that our coaches have not determined how to fix this issue. The result is that we are allowing teams to steal games from us. Games that clearly we should have won - such as last night against Bama and our two losses against Kentucky. These were ours to win but, we coached ourselves to losses in each game.

I am tired of Groundhog Day. With this level talent on the court, I am ready for new talent on the sidelines - and I would imagine that the players are as well.

BTW, I am surprised there is not a thread on Nate Ament's physical condition after his awkward fall last night?

I have very little confidence in this team making it far in the big dance. If they make it to the sweet 16 again that would be a massive overachievement. The way this team plays and the inability to finish games i wouid bet we are bounced out in the first week. Just don’t get good vibes with this team.

I think Barnes is more frustrated than us fans. This team will cause him to retire. If your point guard is consistently scoring the most points on your team. Then it's not really a team
I’m not sure how Barnes could be frustrated. He has had 30 years to fix it and he either can’t or won’t. His teams have always had scoring droughts at critical times during challenging games

Let me get this straight. Players get the lead, but coaches lose it? Just verifying this idea. I'll try to work through the ins and outs if that once I get confirmation.

Exactly LiveFaith. Same as in football. The coaches, not the players, determine to play more offensively or more defensively when a team has a comfortable lead. You ever seen this? Coach Barnes and his staff are making the wrong decisions to solidify WINS when they have the lead - and that is evident by the outcomes.

I was trying to figure that out as well.

Wait until the next coach doesn’t even make the tournament. Expectations have been set by Barnes himself.
