Grizzly bear sightings

I have family in from Montana to see the game. He coaches high school football there but grew up here in good ole Tennessee. Hes been there for the last 25 years or so, he just doesnt want to get totally embarrassed by the outcome. He is not expecting it to be close, so take it easy on the Grizzly fans and let them enjoy the most wonderful atmosphere in college football. (Unless its that guy thats been trolling)

I also saw this stupid guy with an LSU tshirt on. Felt like :punch_bag:, and asking him if he was lost or something.

Was it gray with LSU in purple? Cause I walked passed a guy wearing that shirt on the way back from class, just looked at him like he was an idiot.

lol they've probably never seen anything like it or a city as big as Knoxville. Montana's football team is going to be in awe tomorrow went UT destroys them.

Montanans are fairly well traveled. While I agree the gameday atmosphere should be viewed with awe, I don't think Knoxville will do too much for them in that category.

No knock on Knoxville, but Seattle is a frequent stop for Montanans.

I may opt for air conditioning and espn3 on this one. I don't do 95 degrees well.

Sorry for all the posts, but if I was you, I would get there a bit earlier, and soak it all in. Plenty of awesome things to see, and be a part of even if you hate the Vols.

They better bring a few thousand. They are the reason for the low attendance for the opener. Nobody is thrilled to pay that much for a glorified scrimmage.

I too hope we have a good showing. What would you guys consider a good showing considering flights are around $500 from Missoula to Nashville. Tickets were $55

Thanks for the advice.

The Vols have been my #1 FBS team for the last 10 years. Met a gal in Phoenix who was a UT fan. She was as passionate about the Vols as I was for the Griz.

I actually am meeting her and her family at the tailgates with my friends.

If you guys bring 3,000 or more that would be a great showing IMO considering how far it is, and the kind of game it is. Above all be safe, and have fun. GBO!!!!
