Seen some in front of NEYLAND lookin straight up with their maroon shirts on. Pretty sure they were in awe. Welcome to the SEC boys :rock:

welcome them, and show them hospitality. then show them the scoreboard in the 4th quarter. no need for hostility. Just not worth it. if we take care of our business, we should win quite comfortably!

Exactly. They are probably looking forward to the game, and the game day atmosphere, that Knoxville offers. Don't send them back talking about what a waste of time our fanbase is.

:loco:that reminds me of the time a couple of cocky georgia fans asked me where a good place to party after the game was....I told them to go to this real happening club where all the hot chicks go called the RAINBOW room LMFAO!!!!

I also saw this stupid guy with an LSU tshirt on. Felt like :punch_bag:, and asking him if he was lost or something.

lol they've probably never seen anything like it or a city as big as Knoxville. Montana's football team is going to be in awe tomorrow went UT destroys them.

I hope they let their team come to the stadium sometime today, or tonight and do a walk-through at least, otherwise I would say it will be a little overwhelming come tomorrow.

Almost every fan I've talked to after the game talks about how great our fan base is. It's the ppl that read VN that think we're turrrrrible.

Montana played in the Division 1-AA championship game in Chattanooga a couple of years ago. They have a good following for a smaller school and they travel pretty well. Their fans loved the area. I haven't read anything about their ticket allocation, but... last holiday weekend of the summer, strong fan base (for Division 1-AA). They'll have some fans in their section for sure.

P.S. I wouldn't underestimate their team either. They are in probably the toughest Division 1-AA conference and are used to competition. Granted, we have 'em outmanned, but while their fans will come for some sightseeing, their team will most definately come to play. Not saying they can win, but they can make it interesting for awhile.
