Grizzlies Chances?

The combined age of the Spurs' big 3 is around 240 years old.

OKC is good enough to beat anybody, but their half court offense could end their season earlier than everyone thinks, if they run into a good defensive team.

Who the hell would be surprised if LeBron finds another way to choke?

And I don't see the Lakers getting out of the 2nd round.

I won't say it's likely, but it's nowhere near impossible for the Grizzlies.

Can you put a percentage on that? I'm sticking with 25.

because?

We beat the number team in the league last year without our best player and took OKC to a game 7. So please explain your reasoning?

Did you watch what just happened? If we give up a major double digit score, how the heck do we stay alive for a full series?

You're a crazy person. I love how quickly people react to everything. We lost to Kentucky, kill Dooley! We almost beat LSU, praise Dooley! Relax man. It was one game. Last time I checked, there's 6 more. You're logic for us blowing a huge lead is highly flawed, because if we were so horrible we would have never had that lead to begin with.

Well the Grizz made an abnormally high % of 3 pointers last night after ranking 25th for 3 pt % at 34.5

Yeah, from what I saw, in the first half, getting hot from 3 was a huge part of getting that lead. I hate to imagine what it was like for you people that didn't go to sleep at halftime, like me. I felt pretty confident we could hold on to the 19 point halftime lead with the energy we were playing with. How do you give up a 20+ to 1 run? My brain can't even comprehend that.

I almost feel that this game should have been close throughout. The Grizz are good at closing games that are competitive. One thing that has boded well (however you interpret it) for this team is that they don't blow out many teams. But in a rare blowout last night, it came back to bite them, as they let the lead slip away. Yes, it helps that they are experienced in playing close games and finding ways to win. But the team got too complacent and out of focus in the 4th quarter, and the Clips took advantage.

They play in the east, so they will make it out of the first round. But they have no chance at winning it all. Rich Hamilton's going to wear down as the playoffs progress, and Rose can't stay healthy.

You insinuated they'd make it out of the first round because the East is bad. Since it looks they're not going to, that must mean the East is actually good. It's too late to take it back :p

Memphis took Oklahoma to a game 7 last year without our best player Rudy Gay

Well first you have to finish game seven, then we can actually talk about it. But seriously, what has Rudy Gay done this playoff series that makes you think that he's gonna be a difference maker? He looks like every other player in their offense, when he has the skillset to demand the ball and be a scoring threat EVERY time he gets it. I don't get it. Some nights I wish I had him on my Lakers squad, and others he forgets that he's even in the game. Still has alot of growing up to do though..
