The O line has been bad, and certainly got exposed at OK, which was a VERY tough game for Worley. However, in some ways it was a tougher job last year, because we were so much weaker at WR and TE. Last year the protection was good but often no one was open or they wouldn't finish the route in the right way.
Against our two weak opponents, I though Worley's job actually looked a lot easier than last year. Sure the run game was lacking, but the screen passes were good yard gainers, as were a variety of shorter routes. That means Worley can often just make an easy throw and "get the ball in the hands of a playmaker in space."
IMO, any game this year where the O line can measure up to the opposing D line will result in an easier game for Worley than the games he played in last year.
Of course that is not to say that Worley has not improved his play, he most certainly has...
