Whoever did the things he is talking about in his article should be ashamed of themselves, I agree. However, this is just more of the same crap from the sensationalist media that merely wants to increase ratings, sell papers, etc.
I remember the condition of Alabama fans when Franchione left a few years ago. The reaction of LSU fans when Saban left was pretty brutal, too. The thing that made this reaction to Scum-Bag Kiffin so emotional was because of how we had to try to defend him and his antics every time he opened his mouth. We all took a lot of heat for it from our comrades throughout the South. When you put you neck out there for someone and then he betrays you, it tends to get people upset.
This sports "writer" has a point about it being stupid for anyone to be on the prowl outside the Kiffin home (if that happened . . . notice how there were no facts other than his assumption that it wasn't paranoia). He also has a point about the "riot" in Knoxville after the Kiffin press conference being pointless: Kiffin wasn't worth the effort.
However, this Doyel guy can take his judgmental, holier-than-thou attitude and stick it where the sun doesn't shine. He is the same kind of fool that probably doesn't pay any attention to academic fraud at FSU and paying recruits at USC, but I'm sure he was "outraged" by an alleged hostess scandal at UT. He can go to hell. We actually have a coach now instead of a hollywood soundbyte.
