Many fans may have talked themselves into supporting Dooley and Jones at first, despite the warning signs, but it won't happen this time.

I never thought it was possible but somehow John Currie has done something not even ****ty football teams could do, make me not care about UT football. I live in Bama but could never pull for them so It'll be War Eagle if this pos human being is hired. Will not support UT in any way,as hard as it'll be as they're my team, until they get serious about winning and definitely not with schiano at the helm. He's not a good coach and a worse human being.

Only posting this because it's already on top: please DO NOT reply to any thread in support of Schiano. We'll be getting a lot of outside visitors, maybe even people in the AD watching. We need them to see loud, angry dissent and nothing else.

Ohio State did there investigation and it came back fine he was there defense of coordinator for a top tier team..Who else u going to hire? Currie offered Gruden, Kelly and Mullen and they turned it down..smh This man coming from a winning program

I love Volunteer football like everyone else, but I can not, and WILL NOT, support someone that looked the other way when all that was going on. Jesus, where is the dignity and integrity at with some of you people here? Do kids not matter???

What cracks me up is all the Schiano supporters here pitch the idea that he denied seeing/knowing everything that Sandusky was finally convicted of doing.

So did Paterno, and he still had his statue torn down at PSU. Anyone who puts school wins over a child's safety is not a true fan let alone a human being. 90% of Vol Nation agrees with me, if you go by the support poll posted earlier. They GET it. You don't evidently.

While I'm not supporting GS..... you guys do realize that all this talk of him seeing Sandusky molesting a kid is just heresay right? Both the coach that supposedly told Mcreary and GS both say this didn't happen...... what's being done to GS would be like Manning being run out of an NFL town for sexually abusing women..... you know.... because word is he put his sack on the trainer's face.

The most likely scenario is Mcready, being the one that actually saw a child being molested and chose not to act, felt like he needed to say " I wasn't the only one."..... but I wasn't there and have no idea what the truth is.

Great coach or not. The man was associated with a program that condoned a pedophile. Sorry you have no moral or values but most in East TN do. Will never put football over integrity. Jesus man! His name was dropped during the civil case which documents became public just recently. So now that everyone knows this he is bad news for any program. TN just brought to light the issue. Whether he did or didn't know any of the **** going on, would you take a chance to let a man like this recruit your kid?

My nephew is Brandon Johnson and he on the team so that dont bother me at all, and two that just hear say. obviously Ohio state did there investigation before they hired him.. I just think this fan base overreacted. If he was tied to all that crap its no way he would have been coaching at Ohio State come on guys.. who and the hell Tennessee gonna hire now? Bring back Hoke? Mullen turned down this job, Frost didn't want it, and Chip Kelly turned it down. Fans overreacted big time. Tihs is a damn good coach..smh
