Greg McElroy in love with VOLS

Yes. And my contribution to the discussion is that, IMO, it's premature to put him in that category at this point. Not sure why I'm taking heat for that.
Sorry supersmo for laughing.... It was just the way I read it and it cracked me up. No disrespect intended as you have a right to your opinion. :blush2:

I could care less about the Heistman, Dobbs is playing well and I love him to death but it's to early for the crap talk for a crap trophy. I want a leader that can bring a Championship, if the Heisman comes with it fine. I would be happy for Dobbs, but could care less about a over hyped trophy. A lot of the winners never did squat after they won it, they trophy is politics and popularity. It's really a shady trophy that is won by the right man every once in a while. GO VOLS!!!

I'm believing in him more and more. Last year I had some questions and even this year. Dude has shown that he is a gamer and all he wants to do is just win. Go Vols

As long as Dobbs doesnt turn it over and can burn their D on a couple of key 3rd downs like B Sims did vs us I will be happy.
He doesn't have to have a great game, just an effecient one.

I'm so happy with the way things have played out. Could we have had more wins if Dobbs had started all season? Possibly. However who knows if he would have played this well if he had started from the beginning of the season. I'm happy that he is doing so well now and hope that this great start just builds more confidence in him and the team.

I like your take on things. Post more often. :hi:

When saw that pass over the middle against SC, I said to my dad "that was a special throw" I think that's when I realized he could be something special. I don't want to put any pressure on him. I'm just enjoying the ride. Tennessee football is fun to watch again!

It's odd, because McElroy came from bama. He always has nice things to say about us. Everytime I see someone trashing us on sec network, McElroy has a positive to throw in.

Bama fans have given him grief because he knows there is life after Ala football. He isn't a Ala homer and it has pissed their fanbase off. I love it. He is a good TV guy and like him even more since he has made them mad. And he does give great unbiased answers and I can definitely appreciate that.

Felt the same way ever since Peyton got screwed.

McElroy is from Texas so he has not regional loyalty to Alabama. Additionally, he's obviously a smart guy graduating with a Masters in 3 years with a 4.0 and dropped a 43 on the Wonderlic.

So he's obviously smart for liking the Vols.

I suspect that his and Dobb's brains are so big they can talk to each other with mental telepathy.
