Standing in the Sports Book. Florida is 6 to 1 to win the BCS. UT is 28 to 1. Prohibitive favorite is of course USC, but at 11 to 8, be my guest. Incidentally, played a little blckjack with 2 young ladies from the Knoxville area. Rachel is 21 today. Trouble.

Is that like Caesar's Palace? :)

I've spent a couple football Saturdays there. Good times...

the SC odds are a complete rip. The colts shouldn't be 11-8 to win the NC.
Ok, then. Here's a wager. If you think those odds are so silly, I'll take SC and you can have the field. You win $800 if the Trojans don't win, I get $1,100 if SC wins the hardware.

Can I have the juice?

My mistake. USC is 11 to 5. UT at 28 to 1 is 18th pick, and fifth of the SEC teams behind UF, LSU, Arky, and Auburn.

That's a cool gesture.
It's also a total waste of $10. He would have been better served to go to the Vegas location of Pink's and get two hot dogs or use the money to get a good table at the Olympic Gardens or Seamless.

I'm fully aware of the fact that it's a waste of $10, but there are LOTS of ways to waste a lot more than $10 in Vegas.

Almost all of which are better than investing in the chances of a team that has lost 10 games the last two seasons and hasn't won a conference title since 1998 winning the 2007 National Championship.

Let's not forget Buster Douglas.

Unless the college football season has been reduced to one game and Pete Carroll has married Robin Givens and started taking Lithium, I don't see the relevance of the comparison.
I thought the odds were about the same.....Hat.

I bought the ticket just on a lark, but who knows? I will make it some sort of a prize in an early season game or prediction. I also bought one for South Carolina. They are 60 to 1. Incidentally, I may have been mistaken about UT being 18th choice. Although the teams seemed to be posted in order of odds, with USC at the top, I noticed some seemed out of order. I'll 2x check later.
