Just got to the media room before stop 1 of Road Trap '09-'10. Good to have hoops season here at last. Interesting sidenote: My seat in the media section tonight is next to Grizzlies' personnel director Tony Barone.

You're missing a classic here in Knoxville.

I'm looking for an NBA team. Since we are in the middle of Knoxville, there rly isn't. So I'm down to Charlotte, Atlanta, and Memphis, b/c i don't want to be a bandwagon like picking the lakers or celtics. I rly hope they can turn Memphis around.

Do what I do. Since players move so often, pick those you like and root for them.

GO HAWKS! Been a Hawks fan since the mid 80's. Got season tickets and go to a couple games every other week or so. They're a great up and coming team for a guy looking for an NBA team to follow.

I'm Hawks now. I was a Cavs fan. I loved Shawn Kemp, so when he got traded I started following the Cavs, and I liked big Z. They had a fun couple of years with Terrell Brandon and ugly galoot Tyrone Hill.

When Lebron came to town and they became trendy I was in a basketball lull, so I kind of abandoned it until recently. Hawks are fun to watch and geographically acceptable so I chose them.

I may end up on Milwaukee though, Brandon Jennings is electric.

That's what I have been doing. There are four players I love and will watch them whenver I can. LeBron, Deron Williams, Kevin Durant, and whenever Blake Griffin becomes healthy. I really leaning towards the Hawks because new management is doing an excellent job.

Karl, Popovich, Larry Brown, and Lawrence Frank.

Popovich is one of the five greatest NBA coaches of all-time in my opinion. Hat, I'm not sure how much NBA basketball you watch, but can the Cavs not find a better coach? Watching Mike Brown waste the player God make for the fastbreak offense is depressing.

Sund has done an amazing job the last two years. Couldn't have done much better this past off-season. Still need a legit big man, however Horford is holding his own.

I met Frank two seasons ago. Dude had on the biggest tie i've ever seen anyone wear, it was strange. He knows his stuff though.
Given L's size, any tie is going to look huge. I remember him when he was KO's assistant at UT and looked like he was about 12 years old.

I got a good laugh out of it, but he talked to me and a buddy for a solid 10 minutes during warmups. Definetly a good guy.

I really think they could trade Josh Smith and a first-round pick for Chris Bosh. That team would be stacked. You'd have to consider them serious contenders. And the Crawford get was brilliant.

I see plenty of the NBA. The problem in Cleveland isn't the coach, it's a poorly constructed roster.

okay, i'll go with that. When Mo Williams is your second best player and your third best player is a 37 year old, 350+ Shaq, that's not good. I could see LeBron leaving Cleveland for New York (if he could get another star to play with him) to play in Mike D'antoni's system. He could average a triple double for the season. in that system

There's a reason every team Crawford has played on has been an embarrassment. Atlanta fans will learn that soon enough. He's the backcourt version of Zach Randolph.

I wouldn't give up Smoove and a 1st rnd pick for Bosh. Bosh is a beast but, Smoove is getting better every year and he plays good defense.

Getting Joe Smith for the vet minimum was brilliant and resigning the core group of guys was also a great move. I'm still not sold on Marvin Williams though.

Coming off the bench, he has been great. I agree it's a wait-n-see mode, but he has looked really good for them, and it was a risk Atlanta had to take if they even think about contending in the East. It's been paying off right now, but we will see.
