Green may be coming in to coach DB's

I am hearing from a totally unconfirmed source, but has some inside connections, that Buddy Green was interviewed for DB coach.

I believe that to be False. Buddy Green was interviewed as a defensive coordinator, had a great interview, and was going to get the job had Sunseri turned it down. Being the DC at Navy is not nearly as bad of a job as some seem to think.

Hubbs reported that it was very possible that we have a coach for safties and another for corners. If Green comes on board that would be great if we are moving to a 3-4 defense. His experience will a number of schemes would be great.

This is BS. Dooley wanted to get the DC in place first. Sunseri will be involved in the process of finding defensive assistants.

Not saying Green would come in for this, but Dooley likes having a Safeties Coach and a Cornerbacks Coach. Sirmon was the S coach as a GA before he was hired as LB coach. Wouldn’t surprise me if the ST coach comes in with that responsibility.

CTJ won't be secondary coach next year more than likely, atleast per VN rumors but we definitely gotta keep him. Possibly TE coach.

If it did happen, I doubt TJ is coaching TE and STs. Remember there is 2 open spots on the staff at this point.
