Dropping knowledge.Bob Suffridge or Beattie Feathers. Both played for Tennessee in the 1930s and hadn't outstanding NFL careers. In fact, Feathers had the highness yds. per carry for at least 60 years and may still have the record. Of course, Suffridge was the greatest lineman ever to play for Tennessee. Look up their NFL records and you should agree.
Jack Reynolds, Paul Neumoff, Steve Kiner, Jackie Walker, Tim Irwin, The McKenzie bros, Bruce Wilkerson, Harry Galbreath,The Cofer Bros, Roland James, Bill Bates, James "Little Man" Stewart, Reggie Cobb, all had long and prosperous careers. The list is long.
