Tennessee play real football. I give the coaching staff credit for using the off week to their benefit.

IMO, that is the best coached game I've seen since the last UGA game. I felt like that was a great effort on special teams, O and D. Great clock management and play calling. We tackled better and it was good to see.

I'm just praying it doesn't become a "Will the real Tennessee please stand up?!" thing. Can we match this intensity from here on out? Probably not, but I think we've shown we are capable of it. Looking ahead at the rest of our schedule, nobody on it is looking all that great, except SC could be dangerous...with Bama now stinking it up on fields everywhere, I think SC is clearly the focal game now...until we play the Tigers in ATL.

My only complaint about this is....why did it take till the fifth game of the year to put together a great gameplan, execute, and bump up the intensity???

it doesnt really matter now. hopefully it will continue to be this way for the rest of the season. they probably gained a LOT of confidence today, which will help us out in the long run. the teams we got beat by were good, and even if we had played the way we did today it doesnt guarantee a win. i think that we have a good possibility of winning out of we show up the way we did today though, great win for us.

I agree. I think if we can do good against MSU and LL we should roll into the last tough SEC games with some confidence which could/should make a difference.

The first time this year I've seen the D fire off the ball like they mean it. O-line was very impressive and it appears, contrary to previous performances, that TN does have a rushing game. If you wanted to script "the perfect SEC game" then this would have been close to it. Total domination of the line of scrimmage. For Fat Boy to play "Tennessee football" that's what you must have and good to see it again finally! Does it make up for the FL debacle? No - I will never forgive Fatboy for all the heartbreak over so many years against the Gators. But it does give me hope that we may salvage something of a season. I'm tired of salvaging seasons though. Give me that TN program that should friggin' dominate it.

Tonight? As my roomate in Memphis was born, raised and still lives in Baton Rouge, gotta give the Bengal Tigers some love. G-E-A-U-X Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :good!:
