just saw the tail end of a story of CNN headline sports about Tee Martin. He is teaching and assistant coaching a high school (didn't catch where). He looks very happy and just continued to praise his kids. He also spoke about how much fun he's having and how blessed he felt to have done the things he has. I wish nothing but the best for him. The anchor closed by saying "i spent some time with Tee last night, and he is a true class act". Atta boy Tee!!! :clapping::good!:

He comes on, I believe CSS, every Sunday night, where a group of four talk about the SEC and ACC for 30 minutes. He talks about UT every week, you can tell he still pulls hard for them and refers to UT as "we", even though he is in a position were one should not.

He was unbelievable for our Vols....... I am always glad to hear (and report for that matter) about former Vols doing well. It seems all we read and see any more are about how "some guy blew it".

Tee Martin is a bumb. He was perfect for the Canadian Football League and be blew it. He also got into lots of riffs with coaches and players, he blew his chance and they never gave it back.

He had it made with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, now Kevin Glenn took over and Glenn is one of the best QB's of all time. He broke his wrist in the east final in the 4th qtr. The team held on, and the Blue Bombers went into the Grey Cup. Lost, but had no QB. Where was Martin?

It's the CFL. No one cares.

exuse me?

Why do you like the SEC? CFL is just like the SEC in so many ways.

Ask Conredge Holloway. Go on the campus and go up to him and ask him. I saw Conredge a few months ago when he was in Calgary for a CFL game, and before the game festivities.

Talk to Jermaine Copeland, haha ask alot of people, and tell them what you said, and you would get punched in the mouth.

so stay of the UT campus.

Condredge Holloway went to the CFL because no one in the NFL believed that he could play quarterback; given the choice between going to Canada and not dealing with the racial issues or staying in America and learning a new position, what would common sense do?

Warren Moon did the same thing 10 years later. The rise of the black quarterback in the NFL has done as much as anything to all but dismantle the CFL. Now it's mostly for guys who couldn't cut it in the Arena League, NFL, or in some cases, the XFL.

I've already graduated from there, moron. I'd ask that question to either of those players. They know that no American gives a damn about the CFL.

Additionally, I'd love to see you call Tee Martin a bum to his face.

that's not true!

i'm an american. CFL is better than college football, so why not care about the CFL for that reason?

CFL players for the most part are more athletic than NFL players.

CFL scouts look for typical players playing in the college ranks. Most NFL players couldn't play in the CFL because there not good enough.

Jermaine Copeland said he got a contract offer to play for the Minnesota Vikings after 2004, but decided to resign, and later sign off to play in Calgary.

He told me CFL is the best league, more fun, it's just like college ball. In fact, Jermaine is at the Georgia Dome right now, were tight.

Ricky Williams said after he left the Argonauts that he was surprised how tough it was, it was a wakeup call. Not much the sake of understanding the CFL was that good, but a culture wakeup call. That many americans don't even know about the CFL.

Though I know many people in the late 20's and early 30's grew up watching the CFL.

Maybe you need a culture wakeup. Everything is not pro american.

Like playing NFL in europe. Nobody cares about american sports overseas.

I love that thought that CFL are for players in the arena, and nfl castoffs.

Check the players that are tops in the CFL league! what would you find?

And don't forget the import/non import ratio for rosters.

You have to learn, and you call yourself football fan? many canadians are fans of college teams in both countries, and also pro teams from both countries. They consider themselves a lucky sports fan.

They have CFL, NHL, NCAAF, NFL.

Come on you need to wake up!

Tee Martin is a bum. He has a huge ego, and that's why he got cut from Winnipeg, and no other CFL team wanted him. Also he wasn't very good. He had a better chance of playing in the NFL than CFL.

CFL you have to be a special QB, and he just doesn't have that ability.

He could have played in the NFL and play in a simple offense.

CFL you can't do that.

Tee Martin is a bumb!

Well, you've certainly done an excellent job of convincing everyone that your opinion is worthless.

Explaining why your posts are worthless would be an insult to the intelligence of Volnation. These guys are smart enough to read for themselves.
