I am for keeping Butch and am sure there will be some changes made surrounding him to make our program better. Those loses hurt and was quick to point the finger.

True on all points. Both in support of Butch and Jimmy stating that if you are good enough to get up on a team by two scores.... you're good enough to beat them. I hope the team comes in here with their backs against the wall kind of mentality and gives it to UGA.

I also hope that UGA doesn't come in mad, but dejected that their NC hopes just went down the tubes and being ranked 18th there isn't much left to play for.....again I said that I HOPE that is the case, I doubt it will be though. Much like UA played OU in the sugar bowl the other year, no one wanted to be there in that game.

GBO and lets beat the Dawgs!!!!

HAHA just posted this in another thread. Very good read.
All this "Punch Gate" crap is nothing but a bunch of non sense. Rumors.
I am not happy with the way this played out. I understand the frustration. Hell, I'm frustrated, but to allow a rumor to get this much steam is bull s***.

"I was assured on Monday that Jones has the full support of the people who make those kinds of decisions."

I am positive the same statement was applied to Fulmer the year he got canned too.

Butch has shown his incompetencies and he needs to be replaced if there is any better option out there. I doubt he will make the right staffing decisions. I mean, look at Debord.

These are the times that everyone is tested; the team, coaches, and the fans! It's how the team emerges from this challenge that will tell the tale.

We as a fan base need to support this team and coaching staff no matter what; I feel confident that we will ultimately be proud of this team and will have the same or more enthusiasm going into next season as we did this one.

Weather the storm my friends; good times are coming sooner rather than later!

Ridiculous. First it would cost us 10 million for his buyout. So there is reason number 1 that this is not going to happen. The only reason that he would be let go is if he losses out, which I highly doubt is going to happen (knocking on wood right now).

Seriously the only way I would agree with letting Butch go is if he went 2-10 or 3-9. You still stick with him at 4-8 even. Now to your Deboard point, I'm not sold on him either so I think if this team goes 4-8 or 5-7 you could possibly see his head roll, but there is no way that we are getting rid of Butch this season so just quit it all ready.

Pretty sure losing to Wyoming caused them to reconsider

Cold hard facts we have been out played on the field, while poor coaching calls have been made. Sounds like both players and coaches have taken ownership of what has happened. Now it's time to do something about it, I saw an improvement in coaching from OK to FL and then from FL to AR. Time for it all to come together for GA.

Spot-on. These are team loses and there are plenty of plays where the calls could have been better and plenty of plays where lack of execution could have been better.
