Great article. Alot of credit needs to go to his mother. It sounds like she has instilled a great work ethic and drive in him to go along with his tremendous athletic ability. That combination usually produces something special.

I also took note of UF's recruiting tactic. There seems to be a pattern forming in Urbans recruiting style.

Most likely not when he first gets here. Unless he picks up the O pretty fast. Most likely towards the end of the year.

He would have to beat out Vinson and O'Neal first and those guys are both amazing. I do think G. Jones will be used a lot though, just because Cut. doesn't really talk about making sure he gets the ball in a certain player's hands very often. O'Neal, Vinson, Jones, and Coker will all be huge home run guys this season. Jones as qb running some option type stuff with Coker and Foster would be pretty sweet too.

He will pick up the offense very very fast.. I have stated many times that we run a very complicated offense and he mastered it within the forst week.. Their were only 3 people on our whole roster and coaching staff that knew the playbook inside and out. Myself, our head coach, and Gerald.. He understands defenses and how to beat them, as a QB he was great at picking up blitzes and reading secondarys.. He'll use those skills at the WR position and he'll be great..

I think he will play alot this year. Cutcliffe really likes him and my guess is that he will be using the Mustang before Berry will.

Reading this article reminds me of the way Lucas Taylor was described before he started playing. Maybe Im just spoiled, but I think 6'0 is average for a receiver now.

This Gerald Jones kid seems to have gotten a head start in the weight room. His bench is stronger than most, if not all, of the receivers on the roster. I know that this doesn't mean jack, just thought it was interesting. Also, He looks a lot like Princess Leah in some of his pics, even though that doesn't mean Jack, either.

G. Jones was a better player in high school than lucas taylor and he was recruited hard by a lot more really good schools

Steve smith is 5'9"... he's one of the top 5 WR's in the NFL.
height means nothin when u got speed, heart, n determination..
6-0 190 lbs. sounds good for how agile he is.. he's a little bigger than Percy Harvin..
