Tennessee's season started like....



But these guys never quit, their fight never died, and they end it like.



Congrats 2019.....I haven't seen this sort of scrappy resolve on a team when it got down since the 1980's. This could have been another train wreck year, but you never gave up on yourselves or your brothers. The first step to bringing TN back to where it was is bring back that never quit resolve. Can't wait to see you guys next year, GO VOLS! VFL!

Pivotal year in my opinion. Wasn't pretty, but I think we saw serious growth, and honestly, we went 8-5. 8-5 was reasonable expectations for this team this year according to most. Was it the 8-5 we expected? No. But it's 8-5 nonetheless. Let's get bigger in the weight room, add some more game-changers this recruiting cycle, and come out firing next year even better. Proud of this team for showing grit and toughness and ending strong. That's culture.

Hey Tall, Your Avatar......who is that guy? I saw him and it was as if my soul had jumped out of my gizzards an such, and got in the stands somehow. He was Preachen the good word to them Vols....and sayin exactly I think what was on my souls mind. I think it had a great effect, and brought some religion to our boys. I would gladly share a beer with him.

Someone make us a gif of that man's sermon....I need it stat.

About the season/year from my prospective...

After the game I just sat there, very mixed emotions. We won!! But,,, they way..
The way - the same all season, all season, the way..

My youngest son called and after we discussed "the way" of the win, he said.

"In all my life I have never been glad to see a Tenn. season over, until this year."
It took me only a moment of thought to say "I agree"....... Been a hard year win or lose.

My 94 yr. old Mom was talking with a young salesman yesterday. Somehow it came up that she was a Vol fan. The salesman said he was too and asked if she watched the game and stayed up 'till the end. She said she sure did. The salesman said he did too but it wasn't a very good game.

Mom almost came out of her wheelchair and yelled at the guy "What do you mean it wasn't a good game? WE WON!"
