I'm from this kids home town. Last year, the week after nsd Doory came to see him at his school as a junior. His team mates were saying that he is 10 times better in practice than he plays in a game. He is a team player and doesn't like to boast but he is way better than anyone else in this part of the state. If he stays healthy he could be the golden Tate that stayed home :)

I would rather take my chances with good character players than some of the talented punks that kiffin brought in. JMO

Nope :)
But I went to the same high shool as big al wilson. I was in the 8th grade when he was a senior but I remember watching him at running back... Unfortunately this is the same high school as Daniel Brooks. Brooks was a great kid. He was te scout team rb his freshman year and absolutely loved football as much as anybody. Fulmer and chevous wrote him off. The kid was often confronted at parties by drunk frat guys at ut and didn't know when to walk away from fights... After to many scuffles he was dismissed. I hope Drae Bowles represent Jackson Tn well while on the the Hill !!!

Or even if they did I'd rather have guys who can represent the university in a positive way no matter where they go in life

Exactly.

Reaching your potential requires quite a bit of discipline. Discipline in every aspect of your life.

I saw his coach two weekends ago, and asked him just how awesome Drae was. He told me the kid was just incredible, and that UT is getting a quality player, and an outstanding kid. Apparently the whole family is just phenomenal. Very excited for him to be a Vol.
